Personnel is extremely hospitable with great sense oh humour. Explained everything, gave good recommendations, and even made a full on photo session fr me and my friend. I think the waiter's name was Danny, huge thanks to him! This dish on the photo was just phenomenal. Unfortunately, we had to sit at the counter with no place for coats, but they offered to keep them in the office so it didn't ruin the evening.

Cool place with a fun and innovative way to order food from your phone. Usually i prefer ordering directly from a person, but the app has cool features. The food was all delicious, especially the bao obviously. We also loved the beef and egg thing. I would definitely come again. This place gets busy though so you need to book a table.

Great service. Very friendly and efficient. Although ordering was via the app, service staff is very accommodating. The app was well designed, user friendly. Love the drinks options - the cocktails are amazing. The kale salad with black vinegar and salted egg yolk is so good! Would be great if they cut the kale in smaller pieces and serve with a larger bowl - I've used chopsticks all my life, I still made a mess coz some of the leaves are too large hahahaha

delicious baos, and friendly service. we also tried some of the mains, good but not a standout. the classic pork and the beef baos were both delicious and worth ordering on repeat

The first time I tried Taiwanese food, I liked it. It was cold outside and we just wanted to have hot food. Walked past BAO and it seems like a good place to get hot food. We ordered a set menu which was very affordable and surprisingly the food tasted really good and the presentation was also not bad. Portions are enough to make your tummy full. The tea cup and tea pot are indeed really tiny. Maybe it's the Taiwanese style. I do wish to have a normal portion of tea thou. I am happy with the taste and will try other type of Taiwanese food from now.

The prawn bao was the standout — crispy outside, tender prawn inside, full of flavour. Great for a casual bite, and easy enough to go regularly. Fast, tasty, and reliable!

My second time at BAO and I love you guys more and more with each visit!!!!! 3 Nothing ever disappoints here. Everything to the TOP! Some lovely pick-y starters. First pickled veg delights, let it be known that I would die for the pickled fennel. At BAO, pickled things are the way to go. Okay, the edamame beans might be the only thing that was for me a little too oily and could have more flaky salt or alternatively more chilli, but that is my preference, and my boyfriend inhaled them anyway. Then we had lamb dumplings that were insaaaane, I love when lamb tastes like lamb?! GOOD LAMB! It lays so softly in your mouth and I guarantee flavour. Nyom. Bao time. Fried chicken one was good. Fish one was delishhh, mayonnaise galore. Daikon one? Don’t even... it was one of the nicest things I’ve ever gotten to taste in my life. Comfortingly pillowy bun, and then I don’t even know what happens in this dreamy layer of spicy sweet tanginess but it’s heavenly. Love! Oh my god, as a main we had the aged beef with egg yolk. I was addicted. Moist texture and that intense flavour that makes you feel like a little beast, munching away on soft, tender, meat. The yolk on top and the warm rice makes it a salty-sticky darling. So sexy!!!!! We ended with the custard bun which is explosive, for me a little too grainy in texture? But I love egg. And the salt n sweet combo. And it looks so cute, why so sad? :( Okay BAO clearly I have a crush on you and I hope I can come back for a 3rd time in the future 3. Which location should I try next?

This BAO location does not disappoint. All the food is delicious - only minor nit is that the rice for the aged beef rice dish was a bit dry. We got the cod bao, beef short rib bao, classic bao, lamb dumplings, mushroom dumplings, cucumber salad, and the eggplant. The yuzu soda is also very refreshing. Friendly staff, at times it was a bit hard to get their attention.
